Also his mother Janet Watt Moonie, wife of William Monnie. Died 5th Feb 1931 aged 75 years. The above William Moonie, died 9th March 1938 aged 80 years.". Buried in Dunfermline cemetery.

However, if he was born on 20 July 1858 he was not quite 80 when he died. It is likely that that he was born on 20 July 1858 but that his exact date of birth was no known when he died.
