Drowned in the Eyemouth disaster one of three brothers aboard the Radiant see David, John and Alexander. David and Alexander were dingle, no dependants noted on the Relief roll. Also in Fathers (James) application to the relief fund. Uncle John Burgon also on board.
John married Mary Crombie on 17 Oct 1873 in Eyemouth. (Mary Crombie was born about 1855.)
